I was bored one day (Amazing, huh, that everything I upload here seems to be spawned on boring days) and after playing just a bit too much DMC I'd begun to think that battle themes with lyrics are just WAY coolare than those without. So. I began thinking up lyrics for The End of a Thought.

I'm pretty proud of this one, and think it captured the feeling of the Lloyd/Kratos duel damn well. From Kratos' point of view, anyway.

To be honest, I always felt like Kratos never really thought that Lloyd forgave him.

Edit: Here is a version of the lyrics with time tags, to make it easier to match the lyrics to the song itself. The tags are synchronized to the OST version of End of a Thought.

That's actually a fair bit of amazing, actually. The timing on the lyrics in the timed piece impressed me in particular. The thing is I'm familiar with neither the game, nor the characters, nor even the song itself -- which, all told, is a pity. I can't really comment on those aspects. But the fact that you did it strikes me as amazing; it's not often I see that done, y'know?

So, for those reasons, I like it. ^_^

Incredible. I think you really captured Kratos's emotions here, and the fact that you got it to time with the song is even more amazing ^^
Which reminds me, I need to get practicing on that piano version >¦D

O: You don't know Tales of Symphonia? *Heart attack* But, heh, yeah, you might not get the references to the fight that are in the lyrics unless you've played the game or want to be assaulted by MAJOR SPOILERS >_>

But thanks :3 It's good to know that the lyrics can appeal to people who aren't complete fanboys of the game.

Know of it, but never played it. X3 Only in passing, chum. And should the day come when I play the game, I'll probably be able to appreciate this better.
